Pie Series Disc Wheelset is ICAN's newest wheel for 2024. With a hub made of ceramic bearings and carbon spokes, this wheel series is lighter and stiffer. Support for wider tires provides a more comfortable driving experience.
Support for tubeless tires
The blend of carbon fiber allows us to maintain the modern, blunt aerodynamic shape and offer a rim suitable for tubeless tires. Because they are tubeless ready, we made them slightly wider to give you the full benefit of wider tires and lower air pressure.
High performance hub
Consisting of a ceramic bearing and a 6-notch freewheel, the hub, which is designed for carbon spokes, is equipped with a larger interface for additional safety during assembly. Wheels using this hub only require two lengths of carbon spokes, making post-maintenance easier. It is only necessary to use the conversion cover to switch to six nails, which makes it more suitable.
Carbon Spoke - carbon fiber spoke
The stiffness is increased by 30% compared to steel spokes. Lateral responsiveness improves by 6% and weight is significantly reduced. Only 2.7 grams per spoke. Thanks to TaperLock technology, these spokes can be easily adjusted using the spoke wrenches in the rim well. Aluminum connections at both ends prevent carbon fiber spokes from breaking while driving.
