Versatile Rim Design
The Alpha Pro rims are compatible with both traditional tube tires and tubeless tires. Tubeless tires provide lower rolling resistance and improved puncture protection, allowing riders to optimize their performance on the road.
For the rim brake wheelsets, rims with an internal width of 18.35 mm are available in depths of 40 mm, 50 mm, and 55 mm.
The disc brake wheelsets offer three different internal widths:
- 18.35 mm – Alpha 40 Pro/Alpha 50 Pro
- 21 mm – Alpha 38 Pro/Alpha 52 Pro
- 23 mm – Alpha 40 Plus/Alpha 50 Plus
Hub Specifications
For the rim brake models, the Alpha Pro Series uses the lightweight yet durable Novatec 291/482 hubs, ensuring reliable performance without added weight. The disc brake versions are equipped with the ICAN D21 hub, featuring a 6-pawl design with 72 engagement points for precise power transfer. Both Shimano Road HG and SRAM XDR freehub options are available to meet the needs of a wide range of riders.
Spoke Technology
The Alpha Pro Series uses the proven and durable Pillar SA1423 spokes, which enhance the aerodynamics and reliability of the wheelset. These spokes provide the strength and responsiveness riders need for daily cycling or training.
